Mainly grows on bare soil or in grass along roadsides, gardens, and parks. Sometimes breaking through the asphalt on roads.
Notes
Edible but not considered a delicacy.
Similar species
Agaricus bernardii may resemble but it has a simple ring and a more musty smell.
