Grey Spotted Amanita

– Cap light gray to dark gray with grayish veil remnants.
– Gills free, white.
– Stem white to grayish-white, often with gray granular scales.
– Ring hanging, striated on the upper surface and grayish underside.
– Stem base swollen, with grayish veil remnants in the form of scale-like rings.

Grows in both coniferous and broadleaf forests.

Not toxic but not recommended as an edible mushroom.
